HCG Apple Salad

I love this salad anytime of year.  Its very filling and it takes a long time to eat.

  • lettuce greens
  • 1 whole green apple or pink lady which is my favorite cut up in bite size pieces
  • 2 or 3 sliced strawberries
  • 1 chopped green onion
  • 1 chopped celery stick
  • strawberry dressing*
I sometimes add 1 ounce of blue cheese and maybe a half ounce of pecans.  I have always experienced a loss with this salad even when adding these ingredients however I do measure them exactly so I control the calorie content.  Please be careful and if you cant limit yourself then do not try this.  Also, if you are going to try the blue cheese in your salad then do not have yogurt that day as a fruit substitution.

*My Insane Strawberry Dressing!

  • 1-2 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 C Balsamic Vinegar
  • 5-6 big strawberries
  • 1 pack Splenda
  • dash of salt
  • juice of 1/2 lime

Combine in blender and serve
